"If we kill off the wild, then we are killing a part of our souls." - Dr. Jane Goodall
Illegal wildlife trafficking is destroying our world's most precious species, and it needs to stop. Many people may feel disconnected from the issue or unaffected, but greed and the desire for increasingly rare "trophies", animal "parts", or illegal "pets" has resulted in a boom in illegal wildlife trade globally. This is a gruesome practice that is rapidly pushing the Earth's endangered species toward extinction. It is causing massive individual suffering, from which we may never recover if we do nothing.
This organic cotton t-shirt is your commitment to do something about it, helping life on our planet #StayWild.
Funds raised through the sale of this shirt will be used in the rehabilitation and care of over 150 rescued chimpanzees that currently live at the Jane Goodall Institute's Tchimpounga sanctuary in the Republic of Congo, each one a victim of the illegal wildlife trade.
It will also support environmental education, public awareness campaigns, and support for local law enforcement to stop poaching in its tracks, as well as the underlying causes. Will you help us help wildlife stay wild?
